Gracon Announcing New Electrical Division

Daniel Teague is a native of Colorado, and started as an electrician apprentice at 15, working for his neighbor before eventually owning his own company. He was planning to be a professional pilot, but the pay was better as an electrician. Interestingly enough, along with Master Electrical Licenses in Colorado and Nebraska, he also holds his commercial pilot, multi-instrument rated license.

Dan owned his own company, Master Electrical Contractors, Inc. (MECI) for more than 30 years. MECI provided electrical services for heavy industrial clients, including state, county, and water districts, as well as many general contractors. Over the last few years, Dan has been tapering down the business so he could explore other opportunities until he is ready to retire.

Dan’s company successfully worked with Gracon back on the CSU project in Fort Collins. Eventually, our mutual bonding agent, IMA, introduced us. From there, we were fortunately able to convince him to take on the challenge of growing the division. Dan is looking forward to building a successful electrical division at Gracon.

In his spare time, Dan likes to fly, fish, water ski, snow ski, scuba dive, travel, ATV, and hike, taking advantage of all that Colorado has to offer. He has traveled to Hawaii (his all-time favorite), Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Bahama Islands. Dan and his wife, Denise, have one daughter, Cheree, with six grandchildren (fun story, you should ask him about it).
