Gracon installed a new 5 MW Pelton Turbine Generator, along with a turbine inlet valve, a Betasso bypass valve, and all associated piping, electrical, and controls. The new turbine replaced an aging existing turbine at the plant and required replacing a large section of the powerhouse concrete floor to the granite bedrock, while battling groundwater seepage.
