Broadwater Generator Removal, Repair, and Reassembly

About This Project

This project consisted of generator disassembly and reassembly. The generator was lifted out of the powerhouse by crane and transported to our subcontractor for rehabilitation. The bearings attached to the generator were refurbished and reinstalled concurrently. When rehabilitation was completed, it was transported back to site where the crew reassembled the rotor and stator outside of the powerhouse, and then lifted the entire generator assembly back into place as one piece.
