This $200 million project included a new infant formula plant with a designed total area of 270,000 sq. ft. on a 1.6 million sq. ft. site in Ontario, Canada. A precast concrete dryer tower was installed to a height of 130 feet, which included two dryers, two evaporators, complete separate wet processes in the plant, along with a large scale ASRS and robotics for product movement. The product was to be manufactured and packaged for international export, and it was the first North American facility for one of the largest dairy product manufacturers in China. Project was completed on time and on budget. This project was designed and built by Gracon subsidiary, Dahlgren Industrial.
