Gracon’s Sifter Replacement project for a worldwide producer of pasty baking products was a retrofit installation of a new flour and sugar sifter. This project was at one of the client’s four productions facilities based in the U.S. Gracon executed a plant wide shutdown to complete facility upgrades of replacing the existing gravity style sifters with new blow through style sifters. The work included the removal and the new installation of sifter equipment, steel structure, pneumatic product lines, compressed air piping, electrical conduit, and wiring.
