Darigold Lynden Dryer Hood Installation

About This Project

Dahlgren Industrial was contracted to coordinate, and install, a new intake hood on the Darigold Lynden Dryer 88 along with structural upgrades.  All work had to be completed within a 10-hour plant shutdown period and included the removal of existing HVAC, cutting of IMP wall penetrations, rigging, setting, and welding on a new 8,000 lb. support platform, and rigging and installing a new hood at 64’ elevation.  Work was completed within the scheduled time period while simultaneously completing steam and condensate upgrades. This project was designed and built by Gracon subsidiary, Dahlgren Industrial.
