Gene Wash Valve Replacement

The project consists of replacing an existing 42-inch fixed cone valve which has been in service since the reservoir was constructed. To replace the valve and emergency gates, Gracon will install an isolation device on the hydraulic intake of the dam in approximately 107 feet of water. Along with the mechanical upgrades, Gracon will complete significant upgrades to the electrical distribution and communications systems including duct banks, pull boxes, transformers, and instrumentation devices.
